About Nautical Luxuries
In 1990, International Crew was established in one of the world’s most
beautiful ports, Newport Beach, California. The company’s inaugural line of
nautical Christmas cards with stunning photographic images by photographer
Heather Niblo became its hallmark, and was quickly embraced by nautical
enthusiasts nationwide.
The Nautical Luxuries Catalog and NauticalLuxuries.com Website, both launched in 2000, were created in response to a decade of enthusiastic inquiries from consumers with an unrelenting eye for quality products that embodied the nautical/coastal lifestyle.
In 2002, International Crew Nautical Luxuries relocated to the super yacht capital of Fort Lauderdale, building a loyal following of yachting and coastal decor enthusiasts and rapidly outgrowing its warehouse! Exceeding capacity to grow, the company returned to Southern California two years later.
With an expanded warehouse and showroom in Irvine, and a growing national and international customer base, Nautical Luxuries' owner, DJ Cathcart, continued to enhance the company's product line, maintaining the same insistence on quality, appreciation of luxury, and a penchant for playing on the ocean.
Through her creative vision, and extensive, ongoing product research, DJ developed the most comprehensive collection of unique, high quality nautical and coastal themed gift and decor items available anywhere.
